Colonel James Masterson currently serves as the Chief of Pharmacy at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Prior assignments include Deputy Director for Clinical Support at Womack Army Medical Center, Chief of Pharmacy at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, and Deputy Director of the Army Surgeon General’s Pharmacovigilance Center. He currently serves as the pharmacy subject matter expert for the Army’s Medical Readiness Command East and serves as the Army representative to the Defense Health Agency’s Pharmacy Advisory Board. He graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh, he completed a pharmacy practice residency at Tripler Army Medical Center and completed his Master of Public Health at the University of Hawaii.
