Lieutenant Colonel Kenesha Pace icurrently serves as the Chief Program Management at the Defense Health Agency Informatics Integration Branch, Falls Church, Virginia. LTC Pace began her military career as an Army Reserves Officer Training Corp (ROTC) cadet at Tulane University Orleans Battalion, commissioning into the Medical Service Corps in 2005. Her civilian education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2005 from Xavier University of Louisiana. Subsequently, she received a Doctorate degree in Pharmacy from Xavier University of Louisiana College of Pharmacy in 2009. She completed a one year post graduate Pharmacy Practice Residency at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in 2010 and a post graduate year 2 specialty residency in Pharmacy Informatics at Oregon Health and Science University in 2020. She is board certified in Pharmacotherapy from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties. Her military education includes Basic Officer Leadership Course (BOLC), Captain’s Career Course, Combat Casualty Course, Hospital Management of Chemical Radiological, Nuclear Exposure Course, Intermediate Leaders Education (ILE) course, and the Medical Executive Skills Course.
LTC Pace assignments include, Officer in Charge (OIC) of Inpatient Pharmacy Supply, OIC of Outpatient Pharmacy Services at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital (GLWACH), Fort Leonard Wood, MO; Assistant Chief of the Pharmacy Branch and Primary Instructor for the Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP) and 67E Basic Officer Leaders Course (BOLC), at the Army Medical Department Center and School Center of Excellence (AMEDDC&S CoE), Chief of Pharmacy at Guthrie Ambulatory Health Clinic, Fort Drum New York, and Chief of Pharmacy at Madigan Army Medical Center, Joint Base Lewis McChord Tacoma, Washington. Her awards include Meritorious Service Medal with 1 oak leaf cluster, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, and the Army Service Ribbon.
