Colonel Bryan R. Bailey, PharmD, MHA, BCPS, FISMP is currently the Chief, Department of Pharmacy for Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Landstuhl, Germany. He has over 20 years of health care experience in pharmacy operations, medication management, medication safety, and executive-level leadership. He is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College and has served in a variety of leadership positions since joining the U.S Army in 2005. In addition, he has experience crafting and overseeing enterprise efforts at the AMEDD Quality and Safety Center within Headquarters, US Army Medical Command and the Defense Health Agency Patient Safety Program. He earned a doctor of pharmacy degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, a master of health administration degree from Ohio University and has completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency. Colonel Bailey is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist, a fellow of the Institute for Safe Medication Practices and a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, American Pharmacists Association, and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. In 2020, he was awarded the AMEDD “9A” Proficiency Designator in recognition of his professional achievements. He is married to his wife of 18 years, Lindsay, and has 2 children, Eli and Zoe.
