LT Huang started her pharmacy career as a civilian staff pharmacist at Indian Health Service, Kayenta Service Unit. My passion to help the underserved and vulnerable populations is what led me to commissioning in July 2021, she currently serves as a staff pharmacist at Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Medical Center for Federal Prisoners Springfield. She implemented the pharmacist-led novel BOP Harm Reduction Clinic to offer Naloxone training and education and HIV Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) therapy. She is currently working on implementing therapeutic drug monitoring clinic to include narrow therapeutic index, transplant, and seizure medications and antipsychotics to minimize the risk and monitor for development of any adverse effects attributable to the utilizing these specific drugs.
