Over the past few years, the Indian Health Service (IHS) implemented a formalized pharmacovigilance program. As with starting any new program, challenges and obstacles needed to be overcome in order to create a meaningful and sustainable program. This presentation will describe the IHS pharmacovigilance processes and look to enhance and strengthen other agencies pharmacovigilance programs through sharing and collaboration.
